Route 66 Truck is an R-Stamp certified service facility, which permits us to perform repairs and alterations to MC-331 cargo tankers.
The U.S. Department of Transportation mandates that all repairs, alterations, testing, and inspections on tank trailers transporting hazardous products be performed by a facility that has the “R” Stamp Certification.
The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors offers the Certificate of Authorization and R symbol stamp for the repair and/or alteration of boilers, pressure vessels, and other pressure-retaining items.
Obtaining and maintaining an R Stamp Certification requires significant attention to detail. An R Stamp facility must outline all repair procedures and demonstrate competence performing actual repairs. Each repair or alteration must be documented thoroughly and related documents must be kept on file.
